Black Cumin Seeds

Nigella sativa, also known as black cumin or black caraway, is an annual flowering plant in the buttercup family (Ranunculaceae). The seeds of this plant are widely used as a spice and are known for their unique flavor, which combines notes of onion, black pepper, and oregano. Nigella seeds have a pungent, bitter taste and aroma, making them a common seasoning in many dishes, including legumes, vegetable and salad dishes, and poultry.
