Adjika – Traditional Caucasian Spice Blend

The word "adjika" means "salt", which reflects its origin as a staple seasoning in Caucasian cuisine. This fiery and aromatic blend enhances the flavors of meat, fish, vegetables, pasta, and soups.

Adjika can be used dry, by sprinkling it directly during cooking (1 tablespoon / 1 kg of meat or 1 liter of water). Alternatively, you can prepare a thick sauce by mixing the spice blend with 3–4% wine vinegar and adding salt to taste. Store the sauce in a tightly sealed glass or ceramic container to keep it fresh.
